Step Aside and Let Kamala Harris Make History as First Female President?—Ex-Aide Urges Biden

Former Communications Director for Vice President Kamala Harris, Jamal Simmons, has stirred up political buzz by calling on President Joe Biden to step down and let Harris make history as the first female President of the United States

Simmons made this bold suggestion on CNN’s State of the Union, emphasizing that Biden has been an exceptional president and has fulfilled most of his promises. However, he believes there’s one last impactful move Biden could make: handing the reins over to Harris.

Simmons stated, "Joe Biden’s been a phenomenal president. He could fulfill one more promise by being a transitional figure." He proposed that Biden consider resigning in the next 30 days, allowing Harris to lead the nation.

This comes shortly after former President Donald Trump’s recent win over Harris in the November 8 election. Trump’s victory included decisive wins in swing states like Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

He is set to take office once again in January 2025 as the 47th President of the United States.
